다시 run run run 난 멈출 수가 없어
또 run run run 난 어쩔 수가 없어
Translation:
Let’s run run run again! I can’t stop running
Let’s run run run again! I can’t help running
-Run by BTS-
Run? what are you talking about, Taheera?
Well, my mid semester break has ended.
It was only a week and I felt nothing like a holiday (not really).
I did not get to spend time like how I planned it to be.
I went somewhere tho.
Run Run Run somewhere
Hence why I put the song Run in this post.
Although I normally will feel sad whenever I read the lyrics of this song,
but let's use it in a happier context. ha ha (okay, not funny at all)
you can read it here, if you want.
So I went to Cameron Highlands in a very short time (less than 24 hours)
Hence my mission of going to the tea plantation site was aborted.
This is at the Lavender Garden.
Yup, still at the Lavender Garden.
Also at Lavender Garden. I wanted to take a picture of my Lavender Ice cream with the background of lavenders but because my mum was telling me to smile at her "scenery but must have someone in it to make it more significant", my ice cream melted. Hence, because of the frustration, I went to buy strawberry ice cream instead.
Strawberry Hot Chocolate, Strawberry Milkshake and Strawberry Sundae.
My first stop was actually The Big Red Strawberry Farm.
It was really exciting because I get to eat and yeah, Cameron Highlands is slightly cooler than other parts of Malaysia (16-24 degrees)
No, don't be fooled by this picture, I did not have the chance to pick my own strawberries like everyone else who went here.
Instead my elongated my hand over the locked fence just to take pictures of strawberries.
very very sad indeed.
I went to a bar.
A tea bar ha ha (okay, lame)
Even though I didn't get to go to the tea plantation side,
but I went to a nice shop that sells tea.
I am sure you are also annoyed of how the picture is not straight.
Trust me, I have tried every angle possible, of course also trying not to be obvious that I am taking picture of it.
Although this picture seems like I am served with wonderful tea but no.
those tea are only for the workers to drink and to show how the tea looks like to customer.
BUT
they let me drink one tea, which is a herbal tea to clean the kidney from Sri Lanka or was it India?
I really wanted to try Strawberry Cream tea and Christmas tea but the worker was like
"ni untuk pekerje dan customer yang nak tengok, sorry ye akak"
Oh, don't you akak me.
Those are tea. You know how people dream to have something like this but instead of tea, they have wine.
I want mine to be tea just like in the picture.
Because I madly in love with tea.
My future house will be 24 hours air conditioned,
so that I can drink hot tea in a cold environment,
(Amin)
so that I will not sweat!
Then, my house will be filled with the scent of tea (one tea at a time, of course).
Peach tea, Christmas tea (which includes cinnamon and vanilla),
Strawberry tea and more more more tea.
Oh, this is actually the smokehouse.
I would want my house to be like this (sipping my tea)
The taxi driver who sort of like the tour guide told us that this was one of the British's house or something. I wasn't paying attention.
When the British need a vacation or at least to feel a bit at home, they will go to Cameron Highlands, also for the weather.
The weather plays an important role which enable Strawberry and other stuff to grow.
Anyways, Cameron Highlands is also known as the Little England in Malaysia.
I mean look at the building!
(so pretty)
I didn't enter tho. I was only outside (inside the cab, specifically).
But now the smokehouse is sort of a hotel, pretty sure it is expensive.
Hello, my name is cactuspie
I was from Cameron Highlands but Taheera bought me and took me to Gombak
now I am at her window.
It is hot here in Gombak especially under the hot sun.
Cactuspie always photobombed my picture.
It is so hard to take picture lately thanks to Cactuspie!
Okay, that is all I guess.
Not much.
Next time I go, I will definitely drink tea at the "boh" plantation side while enjoying the view!
Definitely will RUN RUN RUN again.
