Perth, Last Day: Windy Day

Gosh, how long has it been since I last updated my blog?

Anyways, hello. I am back and determined to finish my Perth trip post.

Our last day was supposed to be a free day where we can do whatever we want, so my dad wanted to go to King's Park. It was a really windy day, which was a blessing because it helped us surviving the hot sun in the middle of the day.

we were lost most of the time but we took a lot of picture. Especially with the natural lighting from the sun, pictures taken were extraordinarily pretty consider it taken from a phone camera.

We went back probably after an hour or two of walking, plus we were hungry. So, for the rest of the day, we ended up buying stuff with our remaining money.

I have to admit, I finished most of my money in the groceries store buying tea, milk, crumpet and microwaved food (mostly food).

My mother and sister spent their time in Chemist, buying perfume and face stuff. I did too but on the first day we arrived in City of Perth. Gosh, I bought tons of stuff (food)! Oh, I went to a second hand shop and look what I found! It's Exo's album for freaking two dollars! I have never spent this much in a vacation. Back from Perth, I was literally broke.

I was pretty angry to the fact that I only found out about Cucina On Hay on my last day. I mean, I was always taking it for granted since it was literally beside the apartment we were staying in. Walking pass Cucina on Hay everyday not knowing how beautiful a cup of hot chocolate can be. I couldn't get enough of it so I bought another one (the picture below), hello diabetes because of constant sugared drinks.

At night, my sister and I went for a walk, just the two of us. We wanted to take picture and go to the library which was closed (duh). Oh, actually we went out for Lord of the Fries (the nuggets, OMG). It was so windy, we couldn't walk properly thanks to flying scarf everywhere.

When we went to King's Park, my brother went out with his friends so it was just my parents, sister and I since my brother has a social life (*scoffs*, I'm joking)

Luckily he went back with meat, not that I have not been eating meat when I am here. My sister cooked (I helped too, OK), and it is one of my best meal in LIFE. I might sound like I am exaggerating but I'm not. Smoked salmon, crumpets, Lord of the Fries' nuggets, meat slices and lemonade.

It was a great meal to wrapped up our last day. Unfortunately, our last night here, in Perth before flying out before dawn.

I miss Perth.

Perth, Day 4: Tanning Session in Fremantle

Fremantle, where I bought souvenirs and constantly eating. It was a hot day, 25 degrees. it wasn't that hot but the sunlight made it warm. I bought another shirt here for only ten dollars and socks (another kryptonite).

We took the train from Perth all the way to Fremantle, last station. Wanted to use the bus to the market but it was really near, so we followed where the Malaysians were heading (there are a lot of Malaysians there, like A LOT).

I bought a really good Mango Lassi for 4.5 dollars, it was really good

Turkish food, 12 dollars. Superb

Excited Mummy, wanting to buy fruits

I think Perth is a good place to bring old people (parents, or grandparents) because my parents were really excited when it comes to market or fruits. My parents loved Coles and Woolworths, also the fruit market. They really enjoyed buying fruits or salmon (my father).

I tasted too many fruits that I don't think I need to buy anymore fruits. Those are peaches by the way. My brother's friend recommended a good place to eat Fish and Chips, and it was.. just look at it

Can you see sweet lips?

You know how fish and chips are usually very greasy and coated with thick batter? Well, sweet lips is nothing like that. The fish coating was light, it wasn't that greasy. It is, (so far), the best Fish and Chips I have ever tasted.

And here are some more pictures. I was honestly shocked at the outcome of my pictures because I literally had to wrapped my face. It was really hot. I couldn't take proper pictures because of the sunlight.

To E-Shed

And of course, we went to E-shed to buy souvenir but I didn't really enjoy much there due to a really bad stomachache (Lactose intolerant), but thank god for clean toilets. Honestly, We took a long way to E-shed because once again, Google maps led us astray but somehow it was a good thing because they were many picture worthy scenery.

And finally, with the help of this one lady, we arrived at E-shed

Where I am broke again cause I bought nougats again.

Perth, Day 3: Walk and Shop

The third day was a shopping day (and aching-feet day). We woke up early to go to Watertown Brand Outlet Centre. I almost had a heart attack there due to the hoodies on sale, and t-shirts, available in my size. Hence, why I couldn't provide pictures as much as the other days for the third day. I was too busy buying stuff and spending money

Although, I wouldn't say the things I bought were not needed, some were needed (like hoodie). Anyways, I bought hoodie, one only. Then, I went to buy calendar and pen from Typo and some other stuff from cotton on. Oh, I forgot, I bought two t-shirts. I wanted to buy only one but it was Harry Potter's t-shirt, hell no, I have to buy both it, it's muggle worth *winks*

These are the pictures I took when we were finding our way back home. Pictures of buildings because the buildings there are magnificent.

We were lost, sort of. Trying to find the right bus and google maps led us to the wrong way home (most of the time), like the direction led us to the opposite way.

And you thought shopping time was over, nope. We went to Hay Street Mall in the evening/night and since it was Friday, the shops operated longer time.

Hay Street Mall was lively on Friday night. I saw a lot of street performances and I love street performance! Here's a picture of Jack (or was it John?) playing the piano. On the other side, there was an Asian man playing violin and another guy playing some instrument I have never seen before.

London Street

And finally, the show of the day *drum roll*

I hate everything healthy or vegetarian but maybe, I was partially desperate for meat or maybe Lord of the fries' nuggets are just simply AMAZING. I tried the burgers as well but I think it still taste nothing like meat but if you're desperate, then just eat it but the nuggets tho. I can taste mushroom in the nuggets but it was quite similar if you compare it with chicken meat, maybe slightly sweeter than chicken but nevertheless, it's crazy amazing  (Craymay)

Seven dollars worth of beautiful babes

Mini spicy burger

Perth, Day 2: Perth, My Kryptonite

Here's a last look at Discovery Parks before we started our journey out of West Perth. As many of you (if there's anyone) have guessed, I am not a morning person. I am, if morning starts at 12 in the afternoon but somehow, when I was in Perth, I was always up early (before 9 in the morning) and slept early too.  Anyways, our next destination was,

If you're an animal lover (I think I am), then this shall be your to-go place cause oh my god, the animals there are so adorable!

I have no idea why but wombats look like they are high on drugs. I would have taken a picture with the high looking wombat but the queue was super long and I am sure it would have taken hours for me to be able to pose with the wombat. Unfortunately, same goes for the koalas. I would have hugged or kissed them already but the queue was crazy. Being a sad person, I took pictures of Koalas and Wombats from far (it's better than nothing)

Also because I hate queuing, or people... (nah, I am joking, maybe).

Can't resist to upload a picture of the man kissing the eagle, it was too adorable. Anyways, even the souvenir store was really interesting but I didn't buy anything yet until I saw the nougat. With that, we drove to city (finally, but not really finally)

It was mostly unplanned but because we were passing by a lot of interesting places, so our arrival time was extended. We went to Morish Nuts and Mondo Nougat Factory and Cafe. It was along the way. I bought poppa jack popcorn, then bought a premium-ish soft nougat, Salted caramel. It was so delicious but expensive for someone who was constantly broke like me. Anyways, my brother was constantly craving for ice- cream so we ate ice cream there. Nougat ice cream is the bomb, I tell you. BOMB.

So, I probably finished around 50 dollars just for Nougat and popcorn (also my kryptonite) , it was nice tho. Worth it.

I felt like god was really testing me cause just as we finished buying nuts, popcorn and nougat, we spotted another chocolate factory and yeah, we just had to stop.

With that, I bought another two packets of chocolates. Chocolate pretzels, so delicious. I fell in love with it as soon as I was given the chocolates sample. It has both salty and sweet taste to it, beautifully combined.

We have not had our lunch and were really hungry. We stopped by an art-ish cafe, Taylor's Art and Coffee House, a really nice one for some light snack (that ended being not so light at all).

It's an art cafe for a reason, it got the vintage vibe to it and there's even a vintage shop, even the food was vintage-ish!

This was what we ordered. It's bread (some healthy bread I think), with olive oil and wild seeds. Normally, I wouldn't eat this type of food cause it sounded so healthy but this was really good (especially the bread), I literally eat the bread only without oil or seeds.

And seriously, who can say no to a heavenly iced chocolate with good chocolate syrup lacing the glass and topped with ice cream?

Finally, we reached City Perth and got lost for quite some time, searching for the apartment that we were staying in. We stayed at St. Georges Terrace, also, a beautiful place that probably helped me looked more like a local *winks*.

One of the pictures I took when I was walking to Woolworths.

We were really fortunate that our place was really strategic, as in a lot of places are within walking distance (like Lord of the Fries). We went to the groceries store that night, to Woolworths, also Chemist to buy some skin care products.

I love tea, especially the ones with good smell and in Woolworths, they sell twinning tea pack (10 packs) for two dollars. How crazy is that? I instantly grabbed every single type of tea in the basket but of course, I had to put it back because I only had twenty dollars with me that time. I bought one, intending to buy more only if I have settled buying my souvenirs.

A perfect custard-vanilla yogurt to end my second day.
