That Autumn

For the Mid-semester break, I went to Korea for a program.
Honestly, I wasn't thrilled of going there because, not to brag,
It was my third time going there and it wasn't winter.

But among all three times going, this trip made me miss Korea so much
albeit there were lots of hardships when I was there.

I was also able to take a quality picture (maybe) using my phone. So, I was a little bit excited to capture the views!

Probably I have never noticed it but, this time around Itaewon was decorated with flags from all over the world. Although I had to climb up the "deadly" hill to go here. Staying somewhere near Itaewon was really fun, well at least for me.

Our next stop was Myeondong
I have always loved Myeondong. Oh wait, not exactly, I love the fact that Myeondong is filled with street food (I love food). Although there were lots of people there, I guess it was bearable. Besides, the stuff are quite cheap IF you don't covert it to malaysian ringgit(don't make me start on the socks I've bought)

The Legend Banana uyu. To be honest, I have been drinking this so many times just to know why everybody go crazy of this drink. I still don't know why.

well, at least the strawberry uyu(milk) is better?

The picture above shows Insadong. Probably the best place ever in Korea, well to me.
The crowd wasn't crazy like other places. It is very hipster and when I came there, it was cold as compared to other days that I put on sweater over my T-shirt (finally).

Apart from very hipster, Insadong street is also very organize looking. I felt calm being there.

Whenever I am in Korea,I have to eat this. My favourite! I have to. This trip made this roasted/grill (i don't know) octopus more precious as it was really hard to find this in Itaewon.
The previous place that I have stayed has a lot of street food but in Itaewon, not really or I just couldn't find it.

The "jakun" kind of picture

for a Malaysian, I had to.

The compulsory picture of my shoes and the not-green in coloured leaves.

This is one of the photos taken at the Palace's garden. I thought going here would be a bad idea simply because of I'm tired of sight seeing and why are we looking at leaves and trees? but, I ended up loving it. It was really worth it, the view was, although it felt like hiking all the way. So, going here, I should thank my mum for being crazy over flowers and trees.

That is Bingsu, if you don't know. It is the korean version of Ice Kacang or ABC.
I have been searching for this in Korea. Just look at it.

Before this trip, if you were to ask me whether would I want to go here for the third time, I would say.. maybe no.
But after this amazing trip, if you were to ask me the same question, I would say yes.

It wasn't the view or the temperature, well partly yes but the experience. There were lots of things that I have learnt this very trip that I should have known from my first trip but God knows why I didn't.

I learnt to use the subway, like, I really really know how to.
I spoke in Korean without my brother with me and besides, my sister was depending on me although I only knew how to say "anyeonghaseyo"

I went through another presentation and vomited again, conforming my anxiety. Even vomiting before landing. (For God's sake, please calm down, nerve!)
I knew what it felt like getting lost in a large group and people were depending on you (and my sister).

I was frustrated, happy, sad, nervous and annoyed
but it was worth it.

Alhamdulillah.
